INTERNET CARTOONIST MARTY COOPER’S TAKE ON THE NEW OPEL CORSA.

2015-04-01

Rüsselsheim. After the successful collaboration with ‘Vine giant’ Zach King which resulted in some fascinating clips with the Opel ADAM, the Rüsselsheim-based carmaker have secured the services of another internet phenomenon to promote the new Corsa – Marty Cooper aka Hombre McSteez.

The American brings small cartoon characters to life with the help of transparent foil, a black marker and a standard iPhone. This technique has helped him generate thousands of followers on Facebook and Instagram. Now Marty Cooper’s cartoon monsters get up close to the new Opel Corsa and demonstrate some of the innovative features of the Opel bestseller in a unique and unusual way. To show just how easy Advanced Park Assist is to use a comic figure simply pushes a Corsa into a vacant parking space. Other videos focus on Road Sign Recognition and Lane Departure Warning.

The new short clips are an important component of the launch campaign of the new Corsa and will be available centrally on the campaign page neuesOH.de and on the Opel YouTube Channel.
